[ FALL '15 ]
This bubble stool is part of an investigation using color and pattern in playful and unexpected ways. I also wanted to combine the use of digital fabrication with brush strokes to create something that was truly "digitally handmade". By applying paint to the surface of the acrylic instead of the inner rim the spherical pattern appears fleeting and impermanent rather than solid and tangible.
